Christmas dinner at my home has a fairly rigid tradition. It’s entirely cooked and coordinated by my dad, who starts in the early hours, later peaking in an empty house whilst the rest are out walking in the Black Mountains/at the pub. My mum’s turkey pie that is served a few days later should also have a honourable mention.

Turkey, stuffing, roast potatoes, parmesan parsnips, steamed carrots, broccoli, sprouts with pancetta and chestnuts, gravy
